Introduction
The Young Global Leadership Foundation, Inc. (YGLF) was first informally created as the Young
Global Leadership Organization in 2005. YGLF became incorporated as a non-governmental
organization (NGO) in New York State in 2012. YGLF acquired United Nations NGO ECOSOC
Special Consultative Status in 2018 and remains in good standing with the UN.
Mission
The Young Global Leadership Foundation (YGLF) mentors aspiring young adult leaders, (18-35
years old) worldwide, to become effective and ethical leaders towards peaceful, prosperous and
positive global relations in the 21 st Century. YGLF also guides young adults with their educational,
professional, experiential, and United Nations social development directions and determinations.
YGLF has held UN NGO ECOSOC Special Consultative Status since 2018 with YGLF
representatives at UN Main Quarters in New York City and at the UN Office Geneva.
YGLF adheres to and advocates for the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

YGLF established the Think Global/Active Local Initiative to advance the SDGS in 2025 and works
intergenerationally and interculturally on numerous SDGs that include, among others, SDG # 3 Good
Health and Well Being, SDG # 4 Equitable Education, several environmental SDGs and # 17
collaborative partnerships.
YGLF promotes connection ~ communication ~ collaboration through the human dimension of
educational and cultural initiatives to illuminate awareness, advocacy and action in alignment with
the United Nations.
