
YOUNG GLOBAL LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION HIGHLIGHTS
The YGLF Colloquium was an international event co-sponsored by Cornell University and Marymount Manhattan College. The 5-day program featured the United Nations, the art of negotiation and other pertinent leadership topics. At the Colloquium, 125 young adult students and several expert speakers, worldwide, enthusiastically participated in this unique gathering.
YGLF presented the Journey to Love & Peace Global Piano Concert Series, featuring YGLF CEO and Chair of the Arts, Dr. Chen Wang, launched at the famed Carnegie Hall. The initiative was in collaboration with United Nations–affiliated organizations and international partners, highlighting cross-cultural dialogue through music and peace in the post–COVID-19 recovery period. The initiative received international recognition from U.S. congressional and municipal representatives, with attendance from cultural officials of the Chinese Consulate in New York, and was featured in media coverage across more than 60 countries for its artistic impact and global resonance. The “Journey to Love & Peace” series was featured on the Times Square digital billboard in Times Square, followed by the global release of the solo piano album Love & Journey, distributed across major streaming platforms including Spotify, Amazon Music, and Pandora, expanding its international reach and cultural influence.
The YGLF has created the UN slogan-based Think Global/Act Local Initiative to connect municipal communities to global realities through illuminating the UN 17 Sustainable Goals (SDG’s) through awareness ~ advocacy ~ action.

YGLF hosted a UN NGO International Peace Pole Celebration at the residence of the Chair Dr. Linda to connect global peace to civic engagement oriented Westerly, RI.

YGLF has established YGLF High School Clubs to focus on the UN and the SDGs: People ~ Planet ~ Peace ~ Prosperity ~ Partnership.

YGLF embraces strategic alliances with local communities in the USA, the EU, Africa and Asia to collaborate on UN SDG projects. They include UN SDG #3 Good Health & Well Being; # 4 Equitable Education; several environmental SDGs and # 17 Collaboration Partnerships, among others.
The YGLF Founder/Chair Dr. Linda J. Stillman and CEO Dr. Chen Wang hosted an United Nations 80th anniversary celebration featuring Dr. Linda’s presentation on the UN Past~Present~Future and Dr. Chen’s piano concert honoring eastern and western international composers.
